Check-in

Check-in of guests is at the reception of the River pension. Parking is free of charge for accommodated guests.

Check-in is available between 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.

An ID card of each adult person is required at check-in.

Check-out on the final day of your stay is before 10 a.m.

If you do not check-out before the given time, you will be charged full price for one additional day of stay.

Pets are not allowed due to the nature of accommodation.

Instructions – arrival by car

FROM THE MOTORWAY:

When arriving from the direction of Vienna/ Bratislava/ Prague/ Ružomberok/ Košice/ Poprad on the D1 motorway, please use the Vysoké Tatry exit and continue on road no. 534 for 8 minutes (9,5 km) until you enter the city of Vysoké Tatry/ Starý Smokovec. After the railway crossing, turn right and drive on for 13 minutes on road no. 537 (13,8 km). Then take a left turn to road no. 66, heading towards Tatranská Javorina and continue on this road for 12 minutes (11,3 km). After the rest stop, opposite the ski centre Strednica, turn right and keep going for one more minute (600 m) until you reach the sign Recepcia/Restaurant Mountain resort River.

Arrival by taxi

From Poprad-Tatry train station
Taxi cars are parked outside of the train station and our guests are free to use their service upon arrival. One-way transport cost is roughly 40 EUR. Quality of this taxi service is not our responsibility.

Arrival by public transportation

From Poprad-Tatry train/bus station
Bus lines: direct bus connection to Ždiar operates from 5 a.m. util 9 p.m. approximately every hour during the day and every two hours in the evening.

Bus stop: Ždiar-Strednica
Duration: 1 hour and 10 minutes
Price: 2,80 EUR per person. There is no train connection between Poprad and Ždiar.
